During the summer of 2020, when we were all living in the shadow of the global Covid-19 pandemic, I like many others had a lot of time to reflect on my life.  Amid everything, my wife and I had just been blessed with our 2^nd daughter and were needing to upgrade to a larger vehicle that would hold us and 2 car seats. That July, I told my wife this wild idea that I would list a photo of the original halltree that I built for our home on Etsy.com to see if I could supplement our income enough to help pay for a minivan. August arrived and we purchased the minivan! I did not realize it at the time but this was the start of something much bigger than just a hobby.

Families all around the country started reaching out to me via my listings on Etsy to inquire about getting their own mudroom and entryway storage solutions. Everyone came to me with similar stories: “Hey can you help us organize our entryway, mudroom, etc.”, “We cannot find the exact size or layout that meets our needs at the “you pick the store”.

Its been a journey the last 5 years building custom halltrees of every layout and color you can imagine. Over 1500 families have been kind enough to let us build them an elegant, functional, and custom piece of entryway furniture.
